Hotel Strand-Cafe in Meersburg (Bodensee)

We were eight days in this hotel, very central, had a junior suite with a "castle view" actually more of the inner courtyard, the breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient and nothing to be desired, this hotel has no real reception (also not important) unfortunately none Fridge in the room (minibar), and during the week there was no restaurant and no drinks on the terrace (a shame). It's not quite like the description and we found it a little overpriced. Nevertheless, a very, very friendly company and very clean?

Very nice little hotel right on the Seepromemade with nice rooms, great breakfast on the terrace right on the lake and very friendly and courteous owners. Thank you for the great vacation in your home.

Contrary to some negative reviews on Booking.com and Co., we can only say good things about this family-run hotel. We were treated in a friendly and courteous manner and the two hotel owners fulfilled our every wish. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and lovingly prepared and the beautiful rooms were cleaned properly every day. The location and the view of Lake Constance are unbeatable anyway! Some "naggers" should be said, if I really don't like something in a hotel, I turn to the staff immediately and above all in a friendly manner and have always been successful with it. We certainly have high standards when it comes to hotels, but in retrospect, giving negative reviews on the internet is pretty low-level and cowardly. Many thanks again to the Maier family for this wonderful stay. We are guaranteed to come to you again!

We had an incredibly relaxed time in this hotel. The Maier family knows how to run a hotel in a loving and competent manner. The large room with a view of the lake had an incredible charm. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. It's central and still quiet. We have rarely felt so comfortable. Thank you very much for this wonderful time. a

The hotel was very clean and cared for the staff always courteous and nice. The hotel has a perfect location right on Lake Constance. Always my pleasure.

After we were unwelcome today in the lake promenade with a handicapped people as guests we are stranded here to eat and were very friendly. .. The food was very good! Thank you very much !!! You have saved our day trip, with over 500km. We will gladly come back to you and keep you in positive memory !!! Keep it up......

Too expensive Child's portion cheese spaetzle 9.9 € (so you can get a picture of the prices) Normal portions are not more like children's portions ... Unfriendly service at every turn of the eye. The soup was very good in taste but very small. Seating too narrow.

Must agree with my negative previous speaker: Unfriendly staff (Slovakia). Portion small and price overpriced. 17 euros for a shrimp salad, which consisted only of lettuce and 3 shrimp is not in order. From the children's Spätzle for just under 10 euros my two-year-old daughter 4 would have needed to get full. My Hefeweizen tasted stale! A flop and definitely not recommended!

Time paid for the view. I would not eat there again. Miserable portions, too expensive. Sorry this is just an impudence to call these amounts as something as main course.

Visit to the restaurant. Fast friendly service without waiting. Food according to the day ticket - freshly prepared. Seating overlooking the shore and the associated promenade.

Hotel room was good, view too. Breakfast was adequate. Price performance, a little too expensive.

Great hotel extra wishes were gladly fulfilled. We had a balcony room with great facilities. The breakfast was plentiful and if anything was it was refilled. We will be back.

Very nice hotel with a very nice cafe. We spent our vacation there and were very pleased with how nice and early they were. Our room was a bit small but very nicely decorated. The direct view of the lake is unique. We will be back.

As dog owners we are used to not being wanted everywhere, but here it was just outrageous There are definitely nice waitresses ... the lady it wasn't. Actually we wanted to eat something, actually thought it was nice here, until we got in here ... A waitress came up to us at first friendly and then she saw the dog ... She rolled her eyes, made a negative gesture and said with a tone: Not with dogs anyway ... okay the restaurant next door was nicer ?
